There are so many great things to be celebrating in the life of our church. God is truly moving in some amazing ways and it’s exciting to see all that God is accomplishing.
Hopefully you have heard by now that a Student Ministries candidate has been chosen. His name is Matt Zielich. Matt is engaged to Leah and they will be getting married on May 21. They are a dynamic couple that has a major passion for youth and for youth who do not have a relationship with Jesus Christ. The Youth Advisory Team and I are very excited for you to get to know them. Matt will be a great addition to our staff at Eastland.
There are several opportunities for you students and parents to meet with them:
May 1st, 11:30 am – 1:00 pm Parents and others meet Matt and Leah
This will be a time for parents and anyone else that is interested to meet, interact, and get to know Matt and Leah. We will serve a light lunch in the Gathering Room, and you can submit your questions for Matt for a Q&A time.

May 1st, 5:00pm-7:00pm Pizza Party with Students
This will be a great time for students to get to know both of them. The pizza party is scheduled for this Saturday, May 1, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm in the Youth room. Come meet them both!
May 2: 9:30 am and 11:00 am Matt and Leah will be introduced to the congregation in both services. At 12:15 pm, there will be a Special Business Meeting.
